1. When should I replace the wear plate and cutting ring?
You should inspect them if you notice slurry leakage in the hopper or a drop in pumping pressure. A visible gap between the ring and the plate of more than 2mm usually indicates it’s time for replacement.
2. What is the difference between Tungsten Carbide and High-Chrome?
Tungsten Carbide is much harder and lasts 3-5 times longer than high-chrome, making it ideal for high-pressure building projects. High-chrome is a more budget-friendly option for smaller trailer pumps.
3. Why does my cutting ring wear unevenly?
Uneven wear is often caused by a faulty Rubber Spring or an imbalanced S-valve swing. We recommend replacing the rubber spring every time you change the cutting ring to ensure even pressure.
4. Are these parts compatible with my 230mm SANY pump?
Yes. We stock standard sizes for SANY and ZOOMLION 200mm and 230mm systems. We can also provide custom “7-shape” or “Rectangular” plates depending on your model.
